What is Multi-Sensory Theatre?
People with profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD) are often excluded from mainstream theatre due to it not being accessible to their needs. Working in a sensory way makes theatre accessible for them.
Is it a relaxed performance?
Relaxed performances often have a prescriptive set of rules, and may not be accessible for someone with PMLD. In multi-sensory performance we ensure that every part of the show is accessible to our audience.
