Frozen Light creates exciting and original multi-sensory theatre for audiences with Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD).
Frozen Light has a passion for: stories and adventures; engaging interactive theatre; devised theatre with original and electrifying soundtracks; theatre that is fun and mischievous; theatre that questions; theatre that is bold; theatre that encompasses all senses.
Frozen Light was grown out of a desire to make theatre for audiences that don’t usually access theatre in mainstream arts venues.
Frozen Light’s latest production HOME is premiering at bOing International family festival this August before touring venues in East Anglia in Autumn 2016 followed by a national tour in Spring 2017. Keep an eye on the website and social media for upcoming tour dates.
Frozen Light’s production of The Forest is touring to the Pleasance Courtyard this summer as a part of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival from 22-25th August at 10.30am. This will be the first time a show created specifically for audiences with Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities has ben programmed at the worlds largest arts festival. We are delighted to be working alongside The Pleasance and EdFringe to be making the fringe more accessible for audiences with PMLD.
Frozen Light is proud to be an associate company of the New Wolsey Ipswich who share their vision of accessible theatre for all.
